One of the most famous manga in the world, Death Note, is coming back to Netflix. This time it Death Note will be a live-action series by the name Death Note 4 coming from none other than Matt and Ross Duffer aka The Duffer brothers, who famously created Stranger Things, Netflix’s most successful original still today.

Death Note 4 Story:
- The story follows Light Yagami, a teen genius who discovers a mysterious notebook: the “Death Note”, which belonged to the shinigami Ryuk, and grants the user the supernatural ability to kill anyone whose name is written in its pages. The series centers around Light’s subsequent attempts to use the Death Note to carry out a worldwide massacre of individuals whom he deems immoral and to create a crime-free society, using the alias of a god-like vigilante named “Kira”, and the subsequent efforts of an elite Japanese police task force, led by enigmatic detective L, to apprehend him. The story will be same but it's not gonna be a anime series but a Death Note 4 will be cast with real actors and actress from Stranger Things. If you have the question that if the story is the same then why are they making it, well I don't know they already made one but that was a Death Note Movie a total crap movie total flop then again this time trying to make a series.
Cast Members of Death Note 4 Series:
- As of January 2023, there no cast members yet in Netflix’s new Death Note series. That said, this being a Duffer brothers production, we can probably expect to see one or two Stranger Things favorites actors and actress getting cast in Death Note. Netflix hasn’t announced any dates for Death Note, but considering its very early development stage, we can expect only a 2024 release date as 2023 would be very unrealistic.
